Dear Students,

At the beginning of every year, I sit down and write a list of the highlights and lowlights of the year past.

Invariably, the list of the lowlights gets filled much quicker as one tends to remember painful events much more vividly than the happy ones.

However, year after year, I realized that after filling both columns, the highlights invariably outnumber the lowlights!!!

And looking back, one always realizes that the lows weren’t as bad as they felt at the time…

Time… what a wonderful precious gift, if one only knows how to captivate it.

Time heals… time erases… time gives us all kinds of opportunities and time…alas…is always on the run…

So don’t let time just pass, make use of every minute of everyday.

How exciting is it to begin a new year, a fresh clean page, a thousand and one new opportunities!!

And this is 2011; the year full of celebrations!! 50 years of Kuwait’s Independence, 20 years of Kuwait’s Liberation, 5 Years of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s reign.

This is 2011, Celebrate your Country, Celebrate your Amir, Celebrate your Youth, Celebrate the precious gift that is your Life
